Social Dinner - 25 September
Antico Casale La Carovanalocated at Viale di Vigna Pia, 33 in Romeis a fully restored 18th-century farmhouse set in a unique location featuring olive trees, gardens, a small lake, and even a Roman necropolis. Although situated in the heart of Rome, it lies within an oasis of tranquility that shields it from the surrounding urban metropolis; the property is set in a spacious park with terraced areas nestled amidst Mediterranean scrub, interspersed and adorned by cascading streams that flow between the various levels down to a picturesque lake.
Location
This formal evening event will be an opportunity to share and celebrate the value of the international Deaf community. The program will feature award presentations and live performances.

Seventy-five years after the WFD was founded in Rome on 23 September 1951, this two-day conference marks a historic milestone in our global movement and a day of celebration. Under the theme “Declaring Deaf People’s Human Rights,” we invite participants from around the world to reflect on past achievements, address present challenges, and shape a future where the human rights of deaf people are fully recognized and upheld.
